Karen Curreri and Sandy King

Sandy King, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Curreri College Counseling, traveled with Karen to present an educational session at the Independent Educational Consultants Association's 2008 Fall National Conference held in Baltimore, Maryland. The session, "College Admission Readiness" received praise and interest from conference attendees.

During their time in Baltimore, Karen and Sandy visited the following colleges and universities: Johns Hopkins University (Karen's Alma Mater), Peabody Institute, Goucher College, Loyola College in Maryland, Morgan State University, Towson University, Maryland Institute College of Art, the Naval Academy, and Saint John's College in Annapolis. Karen and Sandy also traveled to Philadelphia to visit the University of Pennsylvania and to meet with representatives from the Huntsman Program at the Wharton School. The relationship Karen Curreri forms with students does not end once they go on to college. While visiting Penn, Karen and Sandy met with a former student who is now attending the University, to enjoy some hot spiced apple cider and good conversation at the White Dog Café.
